Dear Dr. My mom and I saw your excellent talk on ewtn. We hope to read your book. Please put my email down and email any upcoming newsletters or events that my mom and I may go to. We are both seniors and with Gods will enjoy a life of Christ. May God bless you and your family. Christina

Although I didn’t see your program on EWTN with Fr. Mitch, I’m very interested in your book on Alzheimer’s. I find it especially interesting that prayer and meditation is a preventative. If you have any newsletters, please keep me in mind. Also, may I purchase your book through EWTN?

Thank you for the support! I do not have a newsletter (trying to save trees!!!) but I plan to update this site with current information and research so please check back regularly. At this time you can not purchase on EWTN but we are trying to get my book up on their site. If you would like, you can purchase the book at your local book store or through Amazon.com, B&N.com, or Borders.com

Hello. I am reading your book (full disclosure: checked out from library, though I may buy it eventually). My mother died of Alzheimer’s; my father’s oldest sister is institutionalized with it. Therefore, my genetics is not encouraging. I find your book interesting and useful.

My comment is about the references to prayer on your website. My wife and I are atheists. I have known families where cats and dogs have lived together amicably. I feel the same way about atheists and religious believers; they can live together in a society amicably.

However, for this to happen, both sides need to be careful in their use of language so as not to irritate and put off members of the other group. I am not bothered when religious believers use the word “prayer,” but I don’t find it useful when offered to me as a medical prescription. Perhaps a phrase such as “prayer or meditation” might make your web site friendlier. (Glancing at your book, I do see that you use such phrasing in it.)

One alternerative to the word
